Sometimes not all feedback finds its way in the comment section. Sometimes it gets sent directly to me for whatever reason. What follows is an actual comment from an actual reader who for now shall remain nameless:
"thank you, i think, for directing me to your latest postings. they are sickening and depressing beyond words, or at least my words."
She then goes on to say, being completely bereft of any sense of irony, "thank god you're the writer here."
Indeed.

yes, of course. i have never had occasion or reason to criticize YOUR writing skills, just mine. why else do you think i said, thank god you're the writer. i was totally serious.
