Have You Had Enough, Yet?

 

     He's essentially destroyed much of our economy and has made the lives of hundreds of millions of Americans miserable. He's destroyed 15,000 square feet of the White House to replace with a 90,000 square foot ballroom that nobody but he wanted. He's threatening to execute six Democratic lawmakers. He's already murdered over 80 people overseas with 23 boat strikes. He's invaded several American cities, often illegally. He's accepted a $400,000,000 jet from a Middle Eastern nation. He's hauled in billions through his family's cryptocurrency scheme.

     He's pardoned drug dealers not once, not twice, not three times but four times. All while piously inveighing against drug dealers and blowing "drug boats" out of the water. He thanked COVID for giving him an excuse not to shake hands with you, his own supporters, and called you "disgusting". He openly bribed oil executives with deregulation as long as they gave him a one billion dollar bribe.

     (I can perfectly imagine fundraisers in which an aide tells him so and so wants to talk to him and Trump whispering, "Has he paid up, yet?" "No, sir, not yet." "Fuck him. I don't wanna talk to him until he does.") 

     And he's brazenly lying to you. Not just twisting the truth. There is no truth to twist. He is brazenly lying to you by telling you the exact opposite of the truth because he thinks you're dozing off as often as he does.

     Trump hasn't just crossed the Rubicon. He's crossed it, pissed and shit in it, circumnavigated the earth and crossed and pissed and shit in it several more times. Does that red line even exist for you people anymore? Is there no point of no return?

     Did you not cringe when two days ago Cabinet members took turns outdoing each other publicly fellating Trump by calling him the greatest president ever while their aging mangod dozed off or earlier that day when Trump was given a fake peace prize from FIFA while he smiled like a pig and tilted at that weird 45 degree angle?

     Aren't you getting impatient waiting for that $2000 check that will maybe, maybe pay for your Obamacare subsidies for one month? Did you ever get even the vaguest feeling that maybe he doesn't have your best interests at heart while you waited for your food stamps and then he went to court to bitterly fight for the right to starve you? Or did he succeed in convincing you the shutdown was the fault of "radical left Democrats"?

     Trump's approval rating, according to some polls, have sunk to a new alltime low of 36%  It'll never get much lower than that, if at all. That rock-solid, insoluble 36% can be faithfully interpreted as the percentage of people who simply don't give a shit what Trump destroys, even if it's our democratic republic itself. Your infantile mindset puts the salvation of our nation far down, with your list of priorities topped by "owning the libs".

     But it wasn't the libs, whoever they are, who shut off your food stamps during the shutdown. It wasn't the libs who denied you disaster relief after you found yourself in the path of a murderous hurricane or tornado or flood. 

     And if you live in a red state, you can't keep blaming libs you refuse to vote for or elect for keeping your state poor, unemployed and uneducated. Wealthy Republicans you do vote for are laughing at you up their expensively cuff-linked sleeves. That would be the ones who won't need Social Security but are nonetheless relentlessly trying to take away from you. You can't blame the libs for trying to also take away your subsidized health care.

      Maybe you're just too stupid or too apathetic to know what's really going on because maybe you blithely choose to remain ignorant of the fact that Trump has been eroding the Article I powers in the Constitution given to Congress, making it an Article II entity in slavish service to the White House. He's long since eroded the federal judiciary, most infamously the Supreme Court, empowered by Article III.

     Sure, who needs three separate but equal branches of government,  a system that's worked for us for nearly 250 years? Maybe the rising storm that Trump is aiming at you will divert at the last second if you keep accusing critics of having Trump Derangement Syndrome. That'll own the libs, alright. I'm sure your vote for him once, twice, three times will provide you with a magical amulet, a talisman that'll keep your wife from getting deported, you from losing your government job or your earned benefits.

     Hope is a wonderful, many-splendored thing and to those of you about to die of starvation, we salute you.
