(When we make Donald Trump another unemployment statistic November 3rd, that's when.)
This is what happens when you crawl into bed with sociopaths.
"Forget the first three-and-two-third years of self-aggrandizing
incompetence. Just take the last three weeks—during which Trump has
demonstrated the survival instincts of Jim Jones in his final hour at
Jonestown. He is committing electoral suicide, and taking his party with
him." -Richard North Patterson
"After the debate, he couldn't hide what an asshole he is. After he got sick, he couldn't hide how weak he is." -Lucian Truscott IV, Salon
Republicans should've done this five years ago.
The inevitable result of what happens when you dismantle the public school system.
Kamala Harris doesn't know American history? You can't even pronounce Ottawa correctly, you moron.
I used to think IDIOCRACY represented the future. But now it's looking more and more like ROBOCOP. (Tip o' the tinfoil hat to Constant Reader, CC.)
It only follows that a piece of shit sociopath like Donald Trump doesn't even give a damn about his own kids.
Trump's corruption is so staggeringly widespread, deep and long, it took
10 New York Times reporters to write this article about it.
Louis DeJoy shoveled $700,000 into "Trump's" convention. This was BEFORE taking the job of Postmaster General. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to fuck the rat before DeJoy takes a crack at it.
In several phone calls last weekend from the presidential suite at
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Mr. Trump shared an idea
he was considering: When he left the hospital, he wanted to appear frail
at first when people saw him, according to people with knowledge of the
conversations. But underneath his button-down dress shirt, he would
wear a Superman T-shirt, which he would reveal as a symbol of strength
when he ripped open the top layer."
Well, that just heightens my sense of security, how about you?
Meme intermission.
He never had a fortune to lose, you addle-pated greaseball.
Jake Tapper raked Trump over the coals but good today.
Happy Hour Larry (R-Whoopie! Firsht Roundsh on me!) says we're "learning to live with the virus." (Minus 216,000 of us.)
As always, Trump gets it wrong. This is what monoclonal antibody drugs will do to you.
Took this killer cop nearly three years to get indicted but better late than never.
They're furious at Trump for killing the GOP in Arizona, so at least Trump did one good thing over the last four years. And they have no one to blame for this but themselves for fastening themselves to his bloated body like Alabama ticks.
Remember what Karl Rove said over 15 years ago about "making new realities."
"Likely"? He IS toast.
After a point, it's too late to socially distance.
I see the swamp-draining is continuing apace.
“It seems like I’m immune so I can go way out of a basement. Because you have to run a country, you have to get out of a basement." Bunker Boy.
They only have use for Fauci's words when they use them to their advantage.
Trump is on, what, his 41st Communications Director? And you've got to hand it to him, each and every one has progressively been worse than the last.
You can't even get a modest loan or buy a cell phone at Walmart if you owe any student debt. Yet a guy can be president while having over a billion dollars in debt. Explain that one to me. And finally...
“The president is not humbled by this It did not sound, based on my conversation with him, that he is going to give the media an ‘I told you so!’ moment this time.”

Only a sociopath would think so little of human life that they'd gladly put it at hazard to avoid an "I told you so" moment.

My last day of work was Friday, the 13 of March. We went in and hung about 75 lights in the theater for a show the next day. But instead of the act showing up, the show crew instead, took down all the lights we'd hung, kicked everyone out, locked the doors and laid everyone off. I have not had work since then, and all major touring shows are now cancelled until next summer. (One of my buddies just confirmed hearing that from Disney's Lion King tour).
So, apparently my 30 year career in film and theater is now over. Maybe, in two years, we *might* see large indoor venues opening back up and tours starting up again. But what am I supposed to do in the meantime?
Strangely there are some shitty jobs in my area, I can assemble fancy (expensive) rowing machines, for example. A friend of mine has worked there for years at $14/hr! Ooh! But he says that because decent employees are hard to find, they've had to jack that rate up to $17. That is still a 1/3 pay cut for me.
I was just saying to my wife last fall that I felt like we were finally *starting* to recover from the GOP's Great Recession of 2007...
