(Much worse than Crystal Pepsi.)
In other words, punch the bully in the nose and he WILL run away.
Oh, this should end well.
I always thought that one of the greatest ironies in US politics is how much Dan Crenshaw looks like a pirate. This story reinforces that perception.
Really, when you get down to it, Washington is just Broadway for psychopaths with histrionic gifts.
Just to my friends and readers on both sides of the pond, I didn't watch the Oprah interview, couldn't give a shit about the royals, care less what Donnie Dumbo Jr says about them and think the right wing's reaction to it is completely predicated on a kneejerk defense of racism and an equally kneejerk repugnance of mental health issues in others. To most of us middle class people, especially Americans, the royals, were we unfortunate enough to rub elbows with them, would come off looking to the rest of us like an intolerable, insufferable bunch of socially mummified, emotionally withered monsters and racist bigots. Having said that, it doesn't surprise me at all that the patriarch of these well-scrubbed parasites would actually think that such a transparently cynical photo op was a good idea. Now let us speak of this no more and start focusing on issues that actually DO affect the rest of us.
The party that screams about Democrats defunding the police are now literally defunding their own AG because he wasn't willing to break the law for Trump. It's also a transparent bid to privatize the Idaho AG's office: "Another bill allows agencies to hire private attorneys."
Now he's going to be on oxygen for the rest of his life. I take no joy in his misery nor does he have my sympathy. All he had to do was listen to the scientists and real doctors and not the right wing spin doctors, then make an informed decision.
Native Americans. Steve Daines doesn't like them. He especially hates Rep. Deb Haaland, Biden's pick for Interior Secretary.
Your MTG outrage o' the day.
Well, Georgia Republicans do again what they're done to black voters for over a century and legislatively assaulted their voting rights again.
Your Karen o' the day.
No, we can't. EVER.
How surprised are any of you that this took place in Alabama, perhaps the most pre-Cambrian, antediluvian state in the union?
Of course, the corporation blames the third party vendor for the seminar yet the fact remains they signed off on it and implemented it.
Surprise, surprise. Rat Fucker Zero Louis DeJoy bought $54,000,000 in stock from the same company who was handed that $6,000,000,000 mail truck contract and just hours before the announcement was made. It's called "insider trading."
Historically, since late in the last century, the new president's party loses at least one chamber of Congress. With this growing list of Republican defections, that's looking less likely.
"I am so pro-life, I'm willing to kill to show it."
That magistrate had him nailed. That's exactly what Klein did. He's what they used to call in the 18th century a turncoat. And finally...
The rich fucks done got all they're gonna get out of him and the rest can't afford what he's selling.
In other words, punch the bully in the nose and he WILL run away.
"Manchin said he'll push for tax hikes to pay for Biden's upcoming infrastructure and climate proposal."
Yeah, good luck getting your Republican brethren on board with that, Joe. (Tip o' the tinfoil hat to Constant Reader, CC.)

"Trump's rejection of sensible precautions caused many of his political opponents to run hard in the opposite direction, embracing the lockdowns as if they were a point of personal virtue and inherent good, instead of a temporary and deeply unpleasant measure necessary to contain the virus. Worse, liberals were so protective of lockdowns that even sensible criticisms were ignored, and liberals often acted like, well, cops."
Amanda Marcotte doesn't have the right to speak for all liberals and our motivations. And if we erred, at least it was on the side of caution and public health.
