Pottersville Digest: Expanded edition

Indie journalist Michael Collins was right when he began saying years ago that there's no such thing as the Democratic and Republican parties. There's only one party- The Money Party. This proves it.
I have nightmares that end in cold sweats of this fascist getting elected president.
If Chris Kise looked for a better way to make $3,000,000 for doing next to no work, he couldn't possibly do any better than he did here.
Can someone please explain to me what's keeping this psychopath out of four point restraints in a padded room while rocking Haldol enemas 24/7?
Prosecutors wield an enormous amount of power. So why are we always surprised to learn when one of them gets corrupted by it and grossly abuses that power?
     Your Brad o' the day.
Gee, isn't it ironic that Putin's using the same exact tactic as Trump, appealing to the worst right wing elements in his country for relevance? Well, no, actually, it's not.

Ah, the good old days. Thank God Republicans have come to their senses, right?

"But... but... she ran at us! We feared for our lives!"

True fact- "Secretary Ryan Zinke" is a perfect anagram for "carpetbagger".

Not the kind of person I'd want representing me in Congress. (Tip o' the tinfoil hat to Constant Reader, CC)

Great. Just what we need- Another Alvin Bragg.

Republicans: If they can't get their way, they play make believe. Like children.

"The Oath Keepers, they will argue, were not at the Capitol to fight with law enforcement on January 6, 2021. They were acting more as an extension of law enforcement..."
Terrorist groups like the Oaf Keepers are not legitimate extensions of law enforcement. Only the National Guard can legally fill that role.

Woodstock, the greatest festival ever held, started out as a town hall meeting in Bethel, New York. The right wingers didn't want the long-haired freaky people on HIS land. Max Yasgur, a lifelong Republican, literally told them to "go pound salt" up their ass.

Oh, Master Luke, the projection is strong with this one.

If you took part in the #enoughisenough rallies in the UK, I just gained a lot more respect for you.

I don't see how Trump essentially telling these institutions, "You could be getting into bed with a crook" indemnifies him legally in any world, any universe, any multiverse and any dimension. If you're that unsure that the statements are true, then you shouldn't make them. Plus, if the banks had exercised due diligence and rejected his numbers, you know Trump would've screamed bloody murder.

"(T)he Journal pointed out that a 'left-wing follower of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders' opened fire on Rep. Steve Scalise..."
The baseball shooting is a bad analogy because it's not as if former President Obama said Steve Scalise or any Republican had a death wish.

"According to Wahl, his family has a background in Anabaptism, and like Mennonites and the Amish, some of them have religious concerns about being photographed."
Anabaptism, n- The conservative dread of having their crimes and villainy photographically documented.

Perla Huerta. Remember that name. Because you're going to be hearing it a lot in the months to come.
     MAGA: Making Attorneys Get Attorneys.

Another book, another spate of long-delayed revelations, Trump caught in another lie. It must be Monday. And finally...

Wow, Dr. Oz is a grifter. Fancy that.
