All That's Missing is Dustin Hoffman
Wag the dog, anyone?
So, at 10:18 this morning, Donald Trump graciously stopped golfing on the front nine long enough to announce a military air strike without mentioning where it was. Then, with his usual restraint and complete lack of hyperbole, he ended with, "WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!"
Naturally, MAGAts reveled in how decisive and hyper-masculine our new Commander in Chief is. He struck a blow against terrorism and hip hip hooray!
The problem is, after an exhaustive internet search, I have seen no direct, irrefutable evidence that such an air strike ever took place either yesterday or today. USA Today comes closest to proving, without actually proving it, that such a military action took place in Somalia or anywhere else. The problem is, all the "proof" we have of such an air strike taking place is Trump's Truth Social account, Pete Hegseth and the office of the Somalian President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who's obviously in the tank for Trump.
Now, since I don't deal in conspiracy theories, I'm not going to say that such a military action didn't occur. I'm just saying, in the aftermath of such an action, there's usually photos, videos, some actual evidence that such a military action did transpire. But we're not. All we're seeing are social media and press releases that claim it happened.
Seriously, at this point, all that's missing is Dustin Hoffman with a blow dried hairdo and a sweater tied around his neck.
