Drudge Steps on Own Dick Again.
Before you start wigging out like organic hat rack Matt Drudge, the Karl Kolchak of the internets, already has and start protesting ABC reporting its news from inside the White House, let's get one thing straight:
On the 24th, Obama will be having a Town Hall meeting that happens to take place in the White House that will be about health care. It'll be made up of Americans chosen by ABC who have divergent views on the subject (it'll be interesting to see, though, how many single payer advocates make the grade) and it will be moderated by Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer.
ABC will also film Good Morning, America live from the South lawn.
Drudge is making it sound as if ABC will anchor their evening news from inside the White House (in fact, he even used the word "anchored"), thereby making the evil symbiotic relationship between the media and the government complete.
This isn't the first time a network has gone inside the White House to hear what the President has to say any more than this is the first time Drudge has been wrong. But the ABC nightly news will not be broadcast from the White House no matter how many times Drudge says so.

I would mention something about FoxNews during the Bush 43 Era, but apparently none of this ever happened: we just went from Reagan to Clinton to Obama, and somehow started a few wars and economic problems.

...that was all in the past! Can't we all move on and pretend this all never happened? Yes, no?
