Homeland Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is saying there's no such policy to kidnap children at the border. There IS a policy. Trump's. There's just no law mandating it.
And Rick Santorum escaped his orderlies again to run on a CNN sound stage to say that maybe these people shouldn't have come here to begin with.

If I'm getting the Administration's recent explanations right:
1. There is a policy and it's meant to discourage people from bringing their kids over here.
2. There is a law and it's not Trump's. It's Obama's.
3. There is a court case from 1997 that requires them to do this even though former Presidents didn't.
4. There is a court case from 1997 that requires them to do this and former Presidents did.
5. There is no policy and the Administration is not doing it.
