Yep, Another Goddamned Blog
Pottersville has a got a bit of notoriety since all comments I leave on Blogger and Haloscan lead people directly to here. So posting chapters of my novel, The Bone Bridge, is risky.
That's why I decided to set up a separate blog dedicated solely to my new novel. As well as posting new chapters when they're written/drafted, it would be a good idea to also review the chapters for revisions/additions. As it turns out, I haven't completed any of the first three chapters. Yet those who've read the first drafts here at Pottersville will see brand new material.
So bookmark this site. Understandably, I won't go out of my way to whore this blog all over the place on the offchance that someone in the publishing business sees it and automatically writes it off on account of its exposure. Knowing this post will get scrolled down into the archives, I'll provide a blogroll link to this new site at the head of my "Other liberal blogs and humor sites" sidebar.

good idea with the other blog.
michael alan nelson did it with his unsold novel Dingo which was kind of cool. he put up a chapter a week until the story was done. it was sort of like when dickens would serialize one of his novels. cool way to go through it.
It's hard to imagine today, Stevie, that some of the greatest novels of the last 150 years were written serially for newspapers.
So what did you think of the chapters?
I'm getting Barry FitzGerald of Ghost Busters International to help me with the technical aspects. He's a Myspace friend of mine and he's enthusiastic about The Bone Bridge.
GHI, I meant to say, Ghost Hunters International. And to think, I've been desperately trying to move as far away from the Ghostbusters franchise as possible when writing this.
I've got the feed to the new blog. I've been quietly reading it. Most excellent. Exactly what I would expect from you.
Thanks, Lisa. This book's been a wild ride so far.
