Ensign Porker

He criticized Larry Craig, a married Republican senator busted in an airport toilet looking for gay love in exactly the wrong place.

Now former veterinarian John Ensign, sophomore senator in more ways than one, just admitted to having an affair with a staffer. The infidelity, typically, only made his marriage stronger, says his wife.

Says Ensign, "I violated the vows of my marriage."

Ensign belongs to a religious society named... wait for it... wait for it...

...the Promise Keepers.

I'm telling you, folks, you just can't make this shit up.

Truthout last night made a priceless catch of Ensign calling for Clinton's resignation during the Monica scandal 11 years ago.

No doubt, the GOP will call him a hero, too, like they did David Vitter.

Isn't it hilarious how these mortified Republican wives always say the same thing? To me, the money shot, no pun intended, is always, "It's made our marriage stronger."

Yeah, infidelity has a way of doing that in Republican marriages (are we listening, former step daughter?).

I have never ever believed any of these women (Rp or Dem) wanting to get in front of the camera in that "stand by your man" picture you see all the time. I have always been under the impression it is a forced request by their political party. When are these women going to stand up and say No!!! and not take this type of humiliation and I am getting quite disgusted with them.

You know what? It suddenly occurs to me the only Republican wife I ever saw who basically did that was Duke Cunningham's wife. She immediately divorced that bloated prick. His cavorting with prostitutes put a permanent dent in their marriage and she made no bones about that fact.

Im sure there were more maybe some dems too How about the Gov -These are educated and in better financial position than most women to walk away As for the kids-why-they too are humiliated; and keeping it together for the kids is baloney-that home will never be the same again.
