Goodbye, Neda
According to the person who posted this Youtube video,
Here in this Video you can see Neda Soltani, a philosophy student, and her father before she was shot by the Basijis, the video has not a good quality but she is obvious near his father in Blue T-shirt.
Moments later, this is what the bastards did to her.
In the act of saying goodbye to her, we may be saying Hello to the first tentative steps toward true democracy in Iran. Because of a cold-blooded sniper on a rooftop who took the time to aim for her heart, the Iranian government created a ready-made martyr to go with the ready-made and good-to-go head of the revolution (Mousavi).
Yesterday a woman who sounds as if she knew her posted this, one of the most touching things you'll ever read anywhere:
Yesterday I wrote a note, with the subject line “tomorrow is a great day perhaps tomorrow I’ll be killed.” I’m here to let you know I’m alive but my sister was killed…
I’m here to tell you my sister died while in her father’s hands
I’m here to tell you my sister had big dreams…
I’m here to tell you my sister who died was a decent person… and like me yearned for a day when her hair would be swept by the wind… and like me read “Forough” [Forough Farrokhzad]… and longed to live free and equal… and she longed to hold her head up and announce, “I’m Iranian”… and she longed to one day fall in love to a man with a shaggy hair… and she longed for a daughter to braid her hair and sing lullaby by her crib…
my sister died from not having life… my sister died as injustice has no end… my sister died since she loved life too much… and my sister died since she lovingly cared for people…
my loving sister, I wish you had closed your eyes when your time had come… the very end of your last glance burns my soul….
sister have a short sleep. your last dream be sweet.
You have seen her alive for the final time. Now say goodbye... hopefully to the oppression and repression that alone is keeping the mullahs in power in Iran.

I'm very sad about your death, but I never will forget you.
I am urging people, especially women, to wear green bracelets in solidarity with our Iran sisters and brothers – will you do it ? And tell others?
How sad that the innocent die in defense of basic human freedoms. May God grant her peace.
This story really broke my heart. A voice just trying to be heard. America cares and hears your cries. Our hearts are with Neda and her family, and God Bless Iran!
I feel so helpless, I only can pray for the people of Iran and Neda and her family!
It wasn't all that long ago when women and girls in the US were treated similarly. Some still are. I will wear a green bracelet for Neda and all women.
At times like this, we are reminded that we are all brothers and sisters. We've watched our sister Neda leave us, but we will never let her voice go quiet.
I'll be wearing a green bracelet for her, for the others who have died, and for everyone who is fighting for their freedom in Iran.
