The 26th should've been the best day of Jacob Wohl's life. Against all rhyme or reason, he got written up by USA Today then hours later was permanently banned from Twitter. It utterly baffles me why so many hard-working novelists such as myself get universally ignored when little trolls like this guy who's barely out of his teens and still living with Mommy gets so much press and publicity. I expect before long, a literary agent will catapult himself on Mommy's doorstep to sign him.
The only thing, and I mean the ONLY thing that'll save human civilization is the stupidity of the Republican Party.
Sometimes, we have to shame our own parents into doing the right thing.
So, the next time you hear right wing nutters like Ben Sasse and Meghan McCain inveigh against late term abortion and advocating for holding doctors accountable, show them this story of a woman who'd miscarried at less than seven months and ICE saying, "It doesn't count as a death."
