Instead, Democrats seem to be perfectly happy in carrying the GOP's water for it.
      This is just a naked attempt to silence one of the most prominent new voices to get elected to Congress last November. Machine Democrats are already working behind the scenes to find a mainstream Democrat to primary Ocasio-Cortez when she's up for re-election. They jumped on Tlaib after she called Trump a "motherfucker" the day she was sworn in.

      Really, aside from a few voices in the Congressional wilderness, there is absolutely no daylight whatsoever between the Democrats and Republicans. They all swill from the same filthy trough and dance on command for the same people. And this has little if anything to do with Israel. It's about silencing the new voices of true progress who threaten to overturn their rickety apple cart. Such is the cult of centrism which has nothing to do with bipartisanship as much as it is Democrats selling out their voters by doing things the Republican way.
     Finally, Paul Waldman asked in the WaPo yesterday this important factual question: Did Democratic leadership actually ask Omar to pledge fealty to Israel in order to serve on the Foreign Affairs Committee? Because if that was even implied it would be a huge problem for the Democrats.
     House Democrats are dangerously close to becoming just useful idiots at this point. The optics are horrible in going after one of their own who happens to be a female and a Muslim. She just told the truth. Politicians are being bought off with AIPAC money, it is all about the Benjamins, baby (including one in particular who's about to be indicted for corruption).
