Gotham City Digest

(Wasn't fascism supposed to hold a cross, too?)

An eerily prescient video about Donald Trump running for president in 1999.

Meanwhile in Austin, TX, this happened to the Trump Armada. They're still trying to count how many boats got swamped and had sunk. These morons couldn't survive the wave pool at Water Country much less a lake. Maybe they should stick to golf carts, no?

Yes, the man with access to our nuclear launch codes is this fabulously and spectacularly insane. He hired an Obama impersonator so he could heap abuse on him then in the end yell at him, "You're fired!"
As if the president was a contestant on THE APPRENTICE.
As if he was running against him.
      And WON.
      Uh, HUH.

The REAL history of Labor Day.

    Your Brad o' the day.

Of course, Mollie Hemingway of the firth column Federalist Society immediately started screaming about the "Russia collusion hoax" and how it was proved false (just the opposite, actually).

Trump's allies are worried he's low on cash, even though he's raking in hundreds of millions per month. Maybe he's blowing it all on his legal defense fees.

The whale is flailing. Now he's encouraging his rabid zombie voters to attack a widow that supports Joe Biden.

     Meme intermission.

The God of white masculinity is a fraud with feet of clay. Not surprisingly, "a quarter of whites (24.9%) believe that diversity has come at their expense" despite there being not the slightest shred of evidence to suggest that racial parity and inclusion is a zero sum game.

Even when Republicans skirt the edge of the law to avoid breaking the law, they inevitably wind up breaking other laws. Take the case of Louis DeJoy, the fucker o' rats.

Why Chris Cillizza remains employed by CNN or anyone else remains a mystery. He's saying here that Trump's denials about disparaging dead Marines are as credible as the well-sourced reporting that's been confirmed by four news organizations, including Fox.

If you've ever wondered why Donald Trump's approval numbers are eerily consistent over the years, it's because of demented lunatics like this. One guy actually said, "he almost walks on water."

If we're to believe Michael Cohen, and I do in these recollections, Trump is literally a caricature out of a Rudyard Kipling piece of racist jingoism. "Take up the white man's burden", indeed.

"Mr Trump pushed back hard on Theresa May’s pleas to expel Russian diplomats after the Skripal poisoning, saying 'I would rather follow than lead'.” He also asked then Prime Minister May why Boris Johnson wasn't Prime Minister.
The follower of the free world, ladies and gentlemen.

Look, I know Kevin McCarthy's is a right wing dummy who doesn't get it but this really shouldn't surprise him that Trump was so apathetic about McCarthy spending hours with him going over the data trying to explain to him why his conspiracy theories could end up harming the Republican party in the elections. It just amazes me that even right wing idiots haven't caught on to the fact that Trump doesn't care about anyone or anything outside himself, and that that narcissism even extends to the GOP.

An engineering report about to be entered in court says that the three miles of wall built by Fisher Sand and gravel will fall down if not tended to because so many corners were cut. This is what your $25,000,000 bought, you racist asshats. How does it feel?

Study: The very rich are selfish, sociopathic scum. A bridge too far, I know.

You'd think theft would be the one thing at which Donald Trump would excel, that he is a master in the art of art theft. You'd be wrong. The art that the fraud had stolen from the ambassador's house were actually knockoffs created by another fraud.

Class. That's what Donald Trump brings to this race. Sheer, unconditional class. And nothing says class like attacking a grieving father visiting his son's grave.

You just know or should know that Mayor Lovely would've never ordered these police reforms if the body cams videos of Daniel Prude's March 23rd murder weren't ripped from the grasp of the Rochester PD through a records request. And speaking of homicidal cops...

Assembly Bill 392 is getting its first test spin by a prosecutor who'd never sued a cop. And speaking of another homicidal cop...

An ex Georgia State Trooper who murdered a black man over a busted tail light was just denied bail. And finally...

NC's AG announced he would be investigating Louis DeJoy's plainly illegal actions in forcing employees at his North Carolina company to contribute to right wingers only to reimburse them. Remember, DeJoy was questioned about this during his Congressional testimony a couple of weeks ago and he categorically denied having done so, meaning he perjured himself before Congress, a federal felony.

Meanwhile the DNC and Biden are trying everything they can think of to lose to Trump!
