In case you're still baffled why Trump won't concede and begin making plans to leave the White House, consider what he'll be going back to- A company in deep financial shit and under federal and state investigations.
If American demagogues teach us anything, it's that downfalls come much more swiftly than ascendancies.
The fine print says the money will go toward his debt and to the RNC and none of it to Georgia. He doesn't give a fuck about to whom the Senate seats go. The runoffs will be 15 days before he's kicked out. This is just another Trump grift.
So, this is Trump's Dream Team, eh?
Well, well, what a shock! All the right wing dictators, Trump's tyrant buddies, refuse to acknowledge the new president.
“I think this will get to the Supreme Court. I’m not sure how or what state or what avenue, but Trump has very high-powered lawyers, some of the top people in the country, so they will find a way I’m sure,” - 57-year-old Trump supporter Christine Stellabotte. Meanwhile, in the real world, a judge said to Trump's "high-powered lawyers" and "top people", "Your submission is defective."
"But Trump demanded an unattainable level of loyalty from the network. His reelection campaign at one point asked for a bulk discount advertising deal. Fox said no, noting that everyone has to pay the same rates, according to two people familiar with the exchange — leaving Trump extremely unhappy with Fox."
Yes, he thought he was entitled to the home town discount.
"Bill Stepien, the campaign manager, had a staff meeting this morning which he said we’re still in the fight but he even acknowledged what he called ‘amateur hour’..."
Biden won't cave because he won't have to. And he won't have to because for decades he and the Repulican Party have been in sympatico. This was why I adamantly refused to vote for that right wing fuckstick. (Tip o' the tinfoil hate to Constant Reader, CC.
Sorry, kiddies, there are no do-overs in presidential elections. This isn't the playground and the Supreme Court isn't a complaint desk.
Biden loses the popular vote if you remove California? Yeah, and if you exclude all the NY Times bestselling authors and a few thousand successful indie authors, then I'm the #1 bestselling author in the US. Dweeb.
I'm sorry (not) but I think this is fucking hilarious. I was serious the other day when I wrote on my political blog that Biden should fumigate the entire White House before he takes over January 20th. Donald Trump has literally been a pox upon our house.
"Judges have said the Republicans did not provide evidence to back up their assertions — just speculation, rumors or hearsay. Or in one case, hearsay written on a sticky note." Yes, you read that correctly- A sticky note. Bill Stepien was spot on when he called this legal effort "amateur hour."
Yeah, he IS your president, crazy church lady. Deal.
Like dogs returning to their own vomit, so the Trumps return to reality TV.
Like a fat girl who's just been jilted, Trump's gorging himself on fast food and aides are lighting rose-scented candles to cover up the stench. Seriously., Joe, have the WH fumigated before you move in.
"The administrator of the General Services Administration, Emily Murphy, has still not signed a letter formally authorizing the transition to begin."
This is just one of just many ways in which Trump will scorch the earth for Biden. I called it days ago on my blog. He will underfund or defund the transition effort, denying office space and experts to brief the transition and incoming department heads. He will do everything he can to cripple this country because he doesn't give a shit about it. He won't leave with a Secret Service protective detail- He'll be escorted out by them.
Even Fox thinks their pundits are loony.
Yep, he's burning the place down as he's walking out the door. Now we don't have a Secretary of Defense.
This is hilarious. He has zero leverage. You can't threaten to fire people for sending out resumes when they're going to lose their jobs in 73 days, anyway.
There are a lot of words that aren't in the right wing vocabulary, Michelin Man.
Oh, this is bullshit.
10,000,000+ and counting. And I needn't explain what I'm talking about. One of my few regrets is we didn't 86 this asshole fast enough.
Your Brad o' the day.
Mark Levin can go fuck himself and as for Tailgunner Ted, he's defending a guy who tried to link his father with the JFK assassination and called his wife Heidi ugly. Right wingers have no shame, no scruples, no morals, no ethics and no balls.
Fox just cut away from Kayleigh because she was lying too much. And finally...
Neither right wing "senator" from Georgia won the necessary 50% so what did they do? Blame the Secretary of State and demand he resign.

I've noted California's margin since 2016.
But that only means that Trump enjoyed substantial support in the other 49.
The manure spreads far and wide, doesn't it?
As for Georgia's two senators calling for their secretary of state to resign, they should keep it up.
That, along with Trump's refusal to concede defeat, should be exploited by the Dems between now and January's runoff election to paint the Repubs as a bunch of sore losers.
The Dems can't squander this opportunity, can they?
Well, I won't bet money on them.
Yep, me, neither, CC. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and all that. That's the Democrat Party way.
Given Biden's right-wing agenda since he was first elected to Congress, and the Democratic Leadership's 35-year long tradition of falling over each other in their race to apologize to the GOP for the very existence of the Democratic Party, I half expect Biden to apologize to Trump for presuming he has won.
You, too, huh?
Biden called himself the "5th most conservative Democrat in Congress." Am I not supposed to take Biden at his word?
I remember Bill Clinton eagerly joining Newt Gingrich in demonizing me and the rest of us Democratic voters for daring to think that the Democrats should actually oppose the GOP agenda, instead of help it, like Bill and the DNC did. I have not been able to vote for the mainstream Democrat on the ballot since 1992, because of the Dem Leaderships *ongoing* 35 year long betrayal of FDR liberalism and constant attacks on the 50% (the numbers of Dems that voted for Bernie, an *actual* Democrat) of the Democratic voters that want the Dems to DO something to stop the GOP.
That said, I am glad Biden won. I just don't expect the Dems to suddenly start acting like the Democratic Party of 1933 - 1987. That Liberal Democratic Party is long dead, and the new, pro-GOP Democratic Party is all we have.
I'm not glad as much that Biden won as I am that Trump's on the way out. We still have at least four more years of a neolib nightmare to look forward to. It looking marginally better than Trump's fascist nightmare and our relief at his exit should not give undue legitimacy to the Biden administration. To paraphrase Twain, I will applaud Biden only when he deserves it.
