Trump Can Make $207.5 Million by Telling Lies...

     ...but I can't pay my bills for telling the truth. Think what $207.5 million can buy.

     It's been a helluva year for us all, little if any of it any good. We've lost well over 280,000 Americans to COVID-19, passed 15,000,000 cases and experts are saying this winter will be a grim one. To quote that old Chinese imprecation, we're living in interesting times.

     But never let it be said Donnie McFullDiaper can't squirrel away enough time to grieve about his losing election and grift (and probably bribe with promises of pardons) the gullible out of $207.5 million (at last count).

     I keep looking for a world where sense reigns supreme but that world never materializes.

     I've held off on writing this post that I knew weeks ago I'd have to write but I can't wait any longer since we're down to $39 and change in the Paypal account and not much more in the bank.

     As always, I know a lot of you have had your finances sledgehammered by Trump and his policies. So this isn't going out to you, whoever you are. But for those of you who are still solvent, whatever you could spare in Gotham City's depleted coffers would be deeply appreciated.

     Please believe me that I wouldn't be sending out another plea for help if our finances weren't in such dire straits right now. As it is, we haven't even bought stamps for our Xmas cards let alone done any shopping. Plus, as always, the bills need to be paid.

 

     On a much more positive front, since March, when the pandemic hit the US full force, I've been hunkering down with a large project and it's a direct sequel to Tatterdemalion and it's entitled Hollywoodland (click on the cover jpeg to see a full-sized version for the synopsis). I'm currently doing the line edits now and, hopefully, I'll have a Xmas launch date. So here's what I'm prepared to do:
