Gotham City Digest

(It's getting harder not to do so.)
This isn't as subversive as it may look at first glance. Barr appointed Durham as Special Counsel a month and a half ago without going public about it. But the Durham report turned out to be a huge nothing burger that Barr is still hoping will bear fruit ("crossfire hurricane") during the Biden administration.
It won't and Durham's already said after a year and a half, he turned up nothing on Biden.
Nicolle Wallace called Trump's legal team "a bowl of tarantulas." Which is precisely what they are.
Well, this certainly qualifies him for Father of the Year!
As if anyone connected to Trump, hence Russia, can afford to link anyone else to Russia.
Frankly, I'd be amazed if Trump WASN'T selling pardons.
If the government's looking for vaccine fraudsters, they can start by looking at bloated orange charlatans pimping hydroxychloroquine.
Lou Dobbs is the one who's compromised. Mentally and emotionally.
Sidney Powell makes an ongoing case that law schools ought to include in the curriculum geography classes.
I always thought and always will think Sippy Cupp is a right wing organ donor. But I have to admit, she nails it here. (Tip o' the tinfoil hat to Constant Reader, CC.)

Meanwhile, in our fine capital city of Boston...

Trump's deeply suspecting of selling pardons for bribes. Keep in mind, Trump's war chest has suddenly swelled to over $170,000,000. That's no coincidence.

This is what I call the emaciated version of the "skinny bill." And Mitch the Grinch wouldn't even bring this up for a vote.
Katie Porter, one of my favorite Congress critters, held Mnuchin's feet to the fire over the CARES Act funds he stuck back in Treasury's general fund so states couldn't access it.
As usual for anyone in Katie's cross hairs, it didn't go well for Mnuchin.
As you can expect, this asshole posing as an Antifa agitator on Craigslist was a Republican scumbag.
Also, as you can expect, no charges were filed.
"These are the mistakes you see when prisoners represent themselves." Yes, Sidney Powell, again.

So, these seditious right wing douchebags scream bloody murder over shelter in place orders and mask mandates yet are hunky dorey with martial law?
"One loan that is certain to raise eyebrows was a $2.2 million loan to the Triomphe Restaurant Corp., which is located at Trump Tower in New York and which subsequently closed without using the money to save a single job."
Let's face it- Trump and Kushner are just humanoid-shaped black holes of grift and graft that no amount of money can ever fill.
Three blind mice, see how they run ... to the fountain of youth?
What the fuck could possibly go wrong?

“The man Guinness Book of World Records has called the dumbest senator to ever be sworn in in this constitutional republic. I’m speaking, of course, of Ron Johnson, who said that William Barr must show his evidence that he has no evidence.” Joey Scar.

Typical of a Trump, it went from women's rights to merely economic empowerment. So much for Ivanka's legacy.

The right wing conspiracy theory so bat shit insane the Army had to come out and denounce it.

Keep in mind, this is the psycho Nazi asshole who'd representing junior psycho Nazi asshole Kyle Rittenhouse calling for Brian Kemp's arrest. And finally...

Was today "Take your COVID rules-ignoring out of work husband to work day"?
