Pottersville Digest

(Make Cy Vance an offer he can't refuse.)
"Officials located December recording of Trump call in a trash folder on Georgia investigator's device." Yes, you read that right. The trash folder. Republicans are STILL covering for this piece of shit.

The isn't a bottle of snake oil that a Republican can resist trying to sell to the rubes.

Your Karen o' the day. (Tip o' the tinfoil hat to Constant Reader, CC.)

“And we had many meetings in the White House, in the Oval Office having to do with saving and helping dogs." (Narrator: He didn't. Not once.) "And that's what we wanted to do." (Narrator: That started by taking $2,000,000 from the dog charity.)

If he beats the rap, maybe he can go into business with the Soup Nazi.

How shocking is it this happened in North Carolina? This is what they teach their kids down there both at home and in the school.

Nice skirt, asshole. Maybe they'll let you take it to prison. The other inmates will love you for it.

Fox "News'" obsession with Dr. Seuss: Week Three. This is the infantilization of right wingers that started long before Trump

"While it's not certain which party is most to blame for any vaccine hesitancy, the phenomenon is higher among white Republicans than any other demographic group." -Axios
     Fuck 'em. Let 'em rot.

"(A) new Progressive era"? I wouldn't go that far. FDR gave us Social Security and LBJ gave us Medicare. Biden's spent over 40 years trying to take those away from us. "Progressive era"? Hardly. But we tend to compare the last administration with the current and, after Trump, Hoover would look progressive compared to him.

As always, the wealthy don't get or want to get it. And this puts the lie to the right wing platitude that lower taxes create jobs.

Your Brad o' the day: Beware the Idiots of March edition.

Deb Haaland was confirmed as Interior Secretary. Meanwhile, Steve Daines' pointy little head is exploding.

The WaPo issued a correction not a retraction. There's no "witch hunt", moron. There are tapes.

Well, I'm just gobsmacked all to Hell that Donnie Dumbo turned the CDC into a branch of MiniTru, how about you?

And Rhode Island strikes yet another blow for good.

     Your co-Karen o' the day.

Ron Johnson is now an illegal alien from another dimension and ought to be deported back to where he came from.
Like sewer rats being drowned in a gunny sack, Trumpists will eat their own, scratch and bite their way to escape danger.
Shorter Dept. of the Army: "When you get up to 100,000 rioters, then call us."
Sorry, Cancun Ted, this is exactly the opposite of what you were supposed to do.
I can see where Dick Durbin's coming from but I'm still not entirely convinced the filibuster should go. True, it's not a legitimate legislative tool but more like a courtesy we give the minority party in the Senate. Yet just as Republican scum like Strom Thurmond viciously wielded it as a weapon in the interests of Jim Crow, Democrats have also used it for good to prevent the tyranny of the majority that ensues when the aforementioned Republican scum get the upper hand, which they eventually will. Then the Democrats will immediately start to miss the filibuster.
"Don't you think we should send it to California? Gavin has been saying such nice things about me."
I propose in future editions of the DSM, under the headings of "malignant narcissism" and "sociopath", they include Trump's jiggling puss. And finally...

Oh, you KNOW who this one voted for in November.
