What Happened in Coffee County on January 7th?
It had all the earmarks of a right proper, down home, good ole fashioned southern rat fucking. It featured good ole boys and girls. Hell, look at the center of the lead photo and you can even see a lazy old dog stretched out on the floor. Could gravy and biscuits afterward be far behind? Moonshine? Banjos played by Mongoloid boys?
So, what was happening on January 7th? Well, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock had celebrated their twin wins in their respective Senate races and the DOJ was already fanning out all over the country trying to chase down the January 6 rioters. That was also the day two operatives at the behest of Sidney Powell, hence Donald Trump, were ushered into an office in Coffee County where they were then allowed to breach at least one voting machine and all the sensitive data on it.
That isn't exactly late-breaking news. We've known this for over a year. What we didn't know were the text messages that were exchanged between a former NSA stooge named Jim Penrose and former Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan that have now fallen into the possession of CNN.
Penrose was one of the two men who was hired by Sidney Powell before she got tossed off the Trump legal team. You may still remember the infamous Cyber Ninjas, the so-called vote auditing firm that made a conspicuous mockery of Maricopa County's elections apparatus before realizing five months later that, oops, we don't have any evidence of widespread voter fraud.
As it turns out, Penrose was texting Logan and tried to overturn the election results in the two senate races that were held on January 5th. For some reason, Penrose thought he singlehandedly held the evidence to sway the balance of power in the Senate. In fact, he'd written to Logan, “We only have until Saturday to decide if we are going to use this
report to try to decertify the Senate run-off election or if we hold it
for a bigger moment.”
Of course, Ossoff won fair and square over David Perdue, so it's hard to see what grounds Penrose thought he'd had for a lawsuit that plausibly challenged Ossoff's victory.
The breach in Coffee County, one that Trump won by a wide margin in 2020, is just one facet of the sprawling investigation conducted by Fulton County DA Fani Willis, one of four criminal probes into Trump and his dealings.
We all know Rudy Giuliani is a target of Willis' probe as is Sidney Powell. Not only that, but the breach in Coffee County is also being investigated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Then, of course, there's Trump's "perfect" phone call to Brad Raffensberger, in which the Georgia Secretary of State was essentially ordered by Trump to "find" 10,780 votes, which was one more than he needed to win Georgia.
But these texts just obtained by CNN show that Powell's and Giuliani's goons had already moved on from the 2020 election and actually tried to decertify Jon Ossoff's win on January 5th, which, of course, would've tipped the balance of power back to Republicans.
This tells me it wasn't ever really about Trump- It was all about Republican primacy, stolen enfranchisement. They knew they didn't have a prayer of swinging the election back in Trump's favor, so they tried to throw the balance of power in the Senate.
Of course, two and a half weeks before this breach, we knew Trump and his rat fuckers like Sidney Powell, Michael Flynn and Mark Meadows huddled in the Oval Office and bandied about all sorts of crazy schemes to overturn a free and fair election, including seizing voting machines in Georgia. This was the infamous meeting on December 18th.
Like so many other cases involving Trump, this will expand a lot more than it'll contract. Stay tuned because I will be.
