Here We Go Again

      Just as I expected, one insider said, "We need a moderate voice, because we’re losing everyone and we have to come back to the center and get away from woke, identity politics." In other words, "Let's think more like Republicans! That'll bring the liberals and minorities back." Which didn't work out so well in 1995. What the Democrat Party just doesn't understand is that when you give Republican voters the choice between a Republican and a Blue Dog posing as a Republican-lite, the voters will pick the real thing every time. And the Democrats who are hostile to anything even remotely liberal are already digging their own graves for 2028. They started it when the DNC went after David Hogg when he began advocating for more liberal candidates.

     According to the numbers that were crunched after the 2024 election, approximately 15,000,000 Democratic voters stayed home. Joe Biden got 81,000,000 votes in 2020 but Kamala underperformed so badly it essentially wrecked her political career. That's because she didn't have the guts to adopt truly populist, liberal positions. That's why 15,000,000 of us stayed home last November 5th. And the DNC and the Democrat Party need to pull their heads out of their fat, pasty asses and start making some serious inroads to bringing back into the fold the people they've abandoned and whose votes they take for granted. But they're not going to do that because they get the dry heaves at the very thought of anything remotely smelling like Democratic Socialism. The plain fact is the Democrat Party hates Democrats and progressives as much as the Republicans. They're just a little more passive about it.
