Evan Bayh Bails.


Shorter Evan Bayh: "The partisanship is making business difficult to do in the Senate so I'll exacerbate the problem by losing a seat for the Democrats by cutting and running before the Friday filing deadline."

Former Senator Dan Coats (who, as of this moment, is a registered voter in Falls Church, VA) is a virtual lock to reclaim his old seat at this point, so we can forget about Indiana. Question: Is it worth losing a seat to the Republicans to get rid of Bayh? My gut tells me yes.
