Happy First Day of Spring!
This is what the local supermarket's parking lot looks like right now (we had another blizzard yesterday and the night before). Pretty soon, we'll be down to 3 or 4 layers of clothing. Woo hoo! How's the weather in your neck of the woods, peeps?

The temptation to just tell you where I am, followed by "'Nuff said" is strong. So I'll just state that that photo sent a reminiscent shudder down my spine.
I hate winter in all its manifestations with the exception of eggnog.
Finger Lakes area of NY state: 2 or 3 inches of snow twice weekly for the entire winter, with about 8 storms of 6 inches or more. Down from average, but coupled with 20+ MPH winds, constant gray skies...you get the picture. First day of spring: 1 inch light snow, 18 degrees; heat wave in the afternoon, as the mercury shot up to 31!!
It's supposed to get close to about 68-70 degrees.
On the maybe no to bright side, a fellow sufferer at work, El Rog The Magnificent, noted that Texas and the Southwest, the Tea Partei havens of Arizona and New Mexico, are anticipating another year of record high temperatures.
"Want to know how much God loves the 'Bible Belt' and what all these evangelicals are preaching?" El Rog saked. "Just look at the change in weather patterns over the South -- and Texas now has over one hundred days a year, with temperatures at or over 100 degrees? God loves them so much, He's going to bake them first. Good eatin' that way."
Excuse me; I have to go and prove I'm not a Robot Dog.
I live in Palm Beach County, Florida..... we hit 90 degrees today
