Yes, Angela, We All Feel That Way

     After the clusterfuck with Trump and Merkel and him refusing to shake her hand in the Oval Office right after his clusterfuck with the Irish Prime Minister, I think we can now safely say that Angela Merkel is the leader of the Free World. Yes, Adolph Hitler's successor, the current Chancellor of Germany, is the Leader of the Free World. Let that sink in for a moment, folks...
     I'll bet Merkel is now nostalgic for the days when she was getting publicly molested by George W. Bush.

Great screen capture.

There was another one from the scene where they were sitting next to each other, when Trump refused to shake her hand. In this photo Trump said something horrific, as he always does, and Merkel looks sharply at him. The look on her face reads, "OMG, this guy is *exactly* like Hitler in his early days!" And a German would know more than anyone else.

There was a moment with Japan's PM Abe, after that 20 second handshake when Abe looks away and rolls his eyes. From a Japanese person that moment was incredible. The Japanese: so reserved, so focused on protocol. For him to *do* such a thing really underscored just how batshit crazy Trump is.

You know, I was thinking of inserting that picture of Abe with Trump but I was so focused on Merkel that I just decided to stick with the more topical embarrassment.
