Actually, McCarthy is trying to not talk the talk as he never actually said last night that he was refusing to strip Greene of her committee assignments. But the Republican refusal to do so and to even embrace MTG is a mere bellwether of their upcoming refusal to convict Trump in the impeachment trial.
