Pottersville Digest
"The answer isn’t empty outrage. It’s democratic people practicing democratic politics."
And what are Democratic politics and principles going to do about fucking Elon Musk? He owns Twitter. He can't be fired. He can't be bought out. Congress won't regulate social media. Rights have always been weighted in favor of ownership. Always has been, always will be.
I
love watching these red-faced right wing assholes with their mouths
hyper-extended complaining about losing elections. It's screamingly
obvious these losers don't care about anything other than winning. They
have no interest in actual legislation or governance, which is why they
keep losing elections. It's all about winning. And when you deprive them
of that, they have toddler tantrums. I always turn the volume down
before hitting play then laugh at their physical histrionics.
I'd
like to think that this is Zuckerberg's way of being relieved that
someone else had finally assumed the mantle of tanking a social media
giant faster than he is Facebook. But I fear it's just plain fascist
admiration.
This does my heart good.
Along with the babysitter for Donnie Dumbo, they might want to throw in a football helmet, too.
No, of course they didn't.
Shorter Richard Wyatt: "You don't want to go to prison like me and be a convicted criminal. Like me."
Trump almost ran out the clock but not quite.
Cartoon intermission.
PS You'd better watch how you talk about the man I love!
Well, another Walker woman comes out of the woodwork.
Oh, please, Adolf. Tell us more. I can't wait to hear the rest.
I live in Massachusetts and I recall going to a parent teacher conference about 20 years ago. One social studies teacher instructed his students to fan out and ask parents waiting in the halls to talk to teachers if they knew what five rights were guaranteed in the first amendment. I didn't hear all the responses, of course, but of the ones I did hear, no parent asked this could name more than two or three. Believe me when I say parents are the last people to whom we should give this power.
Maybe more people should be strip-searched, starting with Trump and the Chinese spies that keep going in and out.
Matt Gaetz' wingman just got 11 big ones in prison. Now it's time for us to find what Greenberg told prosecutors.
Once again, this is exactly why they make movies like IDIOCRACY.
"Free speech absolutist", eh? Tell us another one, asshole. (Tip o' the tinfoil to Constant Reader, CC) And finally...
Cochise County refused to certify the recent election results. Now they'll have to go to court without representation after their attorney bailed on them at the last minute. This ought to end well.
