    When someone runs against an incumbent politician, it's part of what we call a democracy. Elections are a bedrock of democracy. We normal people understand free and fair elections are fundamental to a viable democracy and that public office isn't a birthright. But Trump simply isn't normal and actually seems to think that a Democratic challenger running against a Republican incumbent is somehow tantamount to a criminal act.
