     First off, let's dispense with this pipe dream that "uniting the nation" is even a remote possibility. Donald Trump infected us with two pandemics: COVID-19 and Trumpism. Neither are going away anytime soon. The difference between the two is that COVID-19 has vaccines and provides the possibility of herd immunity. Secondly, the MAGA movement shows no signs of abating or retreating any time soon. These spittle-flecked lunatics will literally go to their graves insisting that Biden's a crook and stole the 2020 election. There's no unifying. It's time to leave these screaming assholes in the dust and move on.
