Pottersville Digest

How insane is it that a woman conducting a perfectly consensual relationship could face criminal charges but a man who rapes a woman in a department store dressing room is never criminally charged?

"(B)eing indoctrinated to fear that which is their best means of self defense." Oh, that's rich. This is coming from a party and 2nd Amendment movement that's dominated and controlled by fear. Fear of Trump, fear of migrants, fear of drag queens, fear of BLM and antifa, fear of Taylor Swift.

Al Capone's vault, redux, only without the empty space.

Yes, Congress is infested with Mini Pinochets.

Oh, this is a good idea. Let's subvert the will and voice of the people by trying to get them to vote for this pile of shit.

"Mohn claimed he was president in the 14-minute video and said many saw him as the messiah, and he blamed President Joe Biden and the federal government for 'far-left woke mobs,' immigrants and 'globalists and communists' intent on destroying the United States."
Gee, I wonder where he got his hatred of Joe Biden?

Thom Hartmann knocks it out of the park yet again.

     Meme intermission.

     Great moments in journalism.

A $2000 snowblower? They put themselves at legal hazard over a $2000 snowblower?

By definition, state attorneys as well as federal prosecutors, are funded by public money. So Wade and Willis going away, using state funds, is nothing unusual. That $250 an hour that Willis' office is paying Wade is his to spend any way he pleases, even if it's on "lavish vacations". This is all smoke and mirrors, a conspiracy theory dressed up as outrage to try to get him and Trump off the hook for crimes they both nonetheless committed.

Trump just made the Texas Supreme Court his and Ken Paxton's private law firm.

This is what happens when paranoid right wingers get paralyzed by their own paranoia.

They needed a neurologist to tell them that?

This is just the latest salvo in what's rapidly turning into a worldwide movement in which binding central authorities are being questioned. Ordinarily, I'd say that's not necessarily a bad thing but not in these cases. We're seeing the same thing play out in Texas, in which Greg Abbott is thumbing his nose at the SCOTUS' authority regarding the border issue. We saw a riot at the Capitol three years ago and now many are undermining the DOJ's authority to prosecute those responsible. And Trump lit the powder keg by simply not accepting the results of a free and fair election in this country. So, it doesn't surprise me that Africa's hardliners are directly opposing the Vatican in this instance.

Kaplan insisted on a second trial, alright, but it was Robbie Kaplan because you kept defaming her client, you organ donor. And finally...

So let's rearrange those deck chairs faster and not provide and propose policies that people like!
