Cheers and Jeers
Because I can do it better than Daily Kos.
Cheers: Congressmen Alan Grayson (FL-8) and Dennis Kucinich (OH-10) for spearheading the snowballing HR 4789 that would expand Medicare coverage to all under 65 who want it.
Jeers: Former President Bill Clinton, he of NAFTA infamy, in saying that Haiti can raise itself from poverty through its "cheap labor."
Cheers: Congress for removing the Barr amendment that until last week prohibited Washington, DC residents from obtaining medical marijuana.
Jeers: Right wing Wal-Mart for firing a terminally ill man, 2008's Associate of the Year, using legal medical marijuana for failing a routine drug screening test.
Cheers: Health Care for America Now for skewering health insurers' claims that they're jacking up premiums to keep up with the rising cost of health care.
Jeers: Dan Riehl for suggesting that we euthanize Sen. Harry Reid's wife after suffering a car accident.
Cheers: To President Barack Obama for wanting to overhaul No Child Left Behind.
Jeers: To the Texas School Board for bringing the Middle Ages back into our middle schools.

Not bad. Quite good, actually; hope you'll do it more.
Of course the version on DK was intended to be more lighthearted (it was started by a member who eventually got hired by the site after he lost his regular job).
I bow to your Cs and Js, and look forward to the two of us coexisting in peace and harmony.
(Yes, that is an attack gopher in my holster. It's mostly for show.)
