Who's Really Grandstanding?
Is it really Dennis Kucinich or Markos Moulitsas?
Daily Kos co-founder and revered blogging A lister Markos Moulitsas, who's actually read by a whopping 1% of the nation, is saying that Dennis Kucinich will get "primaried" if he doesn't end his opposition to the HCR bill. Kucinich is stressing that we ought to keep "alternatives" in mind and he hasn't given up the fight for universal single payer coverage. But Markos is calling his courageous stand "grandstanding."
Grandstanding? Oh, please.
Look, Markos, we all know that elected officials and government becomes our sworn enemies the second they vote or think in a way that personally displeases any one of us but listen up, you little uber concern troll:
Why are we listening to a former Republican like you and why are you even on TV? Looks like you've strayed off the reservation just like Larry Johnson did with the Michelle Obama "whitey" tape. You going after Kucinich with your ceremonial threats is more of a referendum on your bloated, A-list ego than it is on Kucinich's liberal bona fides.
Markos, you need to get over yourself and to stop inflating your self-importance with threats of primaries. This isn't a typical GOP filibuster for its own sake. There's a method to Kucinich opposing this bill and for you to fall in love with a HCR bill without a public option or single payer while leaving a way for states to opt out of a public option proves that you've not only drunk Obama's Koolaid but had mainlined it in an IV.
And only an idiot like you would think that Kucinich's so-called "grandstanding" far outweighs the good he's done for his district and his country. I can't believe that a so-called progressive could so short-sighted to threaten one of the most liberal members of Congress as if there are actually better candidates in Kucinich's district.
Now I'll sit back and watch the flying monkeys turn the skies of Pottersville black. DKos is like another version of Redstate.org or Little Green Footballs only with slightly better music videos on Saturday night.
