This case both angers me to the core & brings me to tears. As a parent, I can't imagine having your child gunned down- killed & the shooter is questioned & released?
Here we are in the "land of the free", yet any jackass with a gun can be judge, jury & executioner, on a fearful, racist whim.
Although some Tex-ass NRA types are giving $10K for the shooter's defense fund, the majority, nationwide realize this can happen anywhere at any time to any kid, in any of the states that have Shoot first/Castle doctrine "laws"- really lawlessness. The person with the weapon makes fatal & final decisions.
Now the big bad tough guy is in hiding--
and a 17 year old kid is dead.
If justice is not served in this case, I think there will be riots in the streets.
