Pottersville Digest

(None needed here.)

I'm surprised the Texas Board of Education had nothing to do with this.

You read it here first, folks. Dobbs is having his Howard Beale moment. But at least Howard Beale confessed that he "simply ran out of bullshit."

"If I was on a committee, I'd be wasting my time, because my conservative values wouldn't be heard, and neither would my district's. Now, I have a lot of free time on my hands, which means I can talk to a whole lot more people all over this country, and I can talk to more people and make connections and build a huge amount of support."
Shorter MTG: "I never liked your stupid playground, anyway."
In other words, "The grapes were sour, anyway."

So, what stopped Sidney from presenting evidence in December? Oh, that's right- Not having any.

In other words, they tried to bribe him with a 40% stake in the company WHILE HE WAS STILL IN OFFICE and Trump was in the middle of this bribery scheme.

Like I'd pointed out repeatedly, with these right wingers, there's always a money angle.

How Republicans vote seems to depend entirely on whether or not it's a secret ballot, showing that the more consistent Democrats are the true profiles in courage.

It only follows that when Republican scum do poorly in national elections as they did last year and this year, they WILL pull shit like this to rig the table.

This is a huge win for humanity, starting with the people of Palestine. Of course, Netanyahu the crook is already hoarsely screaming about antisemitism.

Where the hell did OAN get a quarter of a million dollars?

George Takei brilliantly demolishes the GOP's calls for unity in just 41 words.

It looks as if Trump still has that video of the dead boy hooker in Mizz Lindsey's bed.

"Stefanik's excuse for taking Greene's side is so full of holes, it's invisible. It is amusing, however, that she would point to the will of the voters, considering it was she who, a month ago, was doing her best to undermine the election results in Georgia."
Can we please stop acting as if Republicans are actually sane?
"For some QAnon conspiracy theorists, March 4, 2021 is a date circled in red Sharpie on the calendar. The truly devoted believe that, on this special date, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 19th president of the United States... At the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC, the least expensive room option is the deluxe king, ranging in size from 350 to 475 square feet. At this time of year, it normally runs anywhere from $476 to $596 per night.
Interestingly, on March 3 and 4, the same room is selling for $1,331 per night."
Yes, they're gouging people over a conspiracy theory and are preparing to cheat a bunch of suckers who will fly to DC for absolutely nothing.

I don't know what these right wing lunatics think they're accomplishing by eating their own. Arizona has just 11 electoral votes. Even without that, Biden still won the presidency by 63.

This was what happened four years ago today. Yet Cruz and Hawley are getting a pass from Republican scum for inciting an insurrection in our nation's Capitol that ultimately resulted in three dead cops.
Note this sawed-off little Klansman from KY zeroes in on four black lawmakers.
“The Republican Party in Georgia right now is like a Jenga game where someone has pulled out the wrong block. It’s unstable and a mess.”
Good. I hope the whole party goes down like the Hindenburg.
Oh a non-discrimination law "ignores biology"? So do you fascist nut jobs when you deny the COVID pandemic is real.

OAN is essentially what a Parler comment section would look like if it had a network- Vapid, venomous and vainly trying to fill the vacuum without their Dear Leader.
PA State Police: You can't kill yourself. That's our job.
That's a contradiction, Candace, but Kanye had a better chance of getting elected president. And finally...

You've probably heard by now that Parler shitcanned its CEO, John Matze. What you probably don't know is that Matze's new post-Parler conspiracy theory is that Trump's already on it using a pseudonym. Not likely. The bribery scheme never went through.

Trump wants to marry that little girl once she turns 18.

By the way, that Candace Owens tweet seems to have disappeared. What foul message did she want to convey to the world this time?
