Because Lord knows the A list blogs don't give us nearly enough of those.
I know what's going on out there but I can't bring myself to read beyond the headlines much less respond to it in a coherent fashion. My life has turned into a Rodney Dangerfield night club routine and everyone's telling me I'm largely powerless to stop the madness. I can't catch a break and I have less than zero interest in blogging. Maybe it's depression, maybe it's outrage fatigue, maybe it's being driven to distraction, maybe it's everything.
So tell me what else is going on out there or what's going on in your lives and don't forget the links. I'll be poking in once in a while.

I wish tin foil hats worked. I'm in the process of trying to find a way to keep the neighbors who have boom stereo sound systems in their cars quiet.
I wrote my district rep but no answer yet. The laws on the books are inadequate and virtually unenforceable.
Any ideas on what else to do?
Do they make titanium foil?
That pic consists of what genuine members of the GOP consider to be genuine hershey kiss'.
There seems to be an enormous amount of blogging fatigue out there lately (at least on the Left side of the blogosphere). My guess is it's a reaction to winning an election and then finding a knife in our backs. I hear that really slows one down. Personally, it's been months since I was able to drum up more than a paragraph or two of passion for anything.
Yep weird every were but as my late father (a real R) use to tell me never let the Bastards win. I don't write but I'll never stop talking to those the might need to hear the Truth. No I don't come to your door on Sat. or stand on the corner. Pop was a Mason/Shriner. Just got to take time to make a tin foil hat.

Seems not everyone is thrilled with Glenn Beck Day!

Firestarter5: That kind of reminds me of the reception given to Jimi Hendrix when in 1968 he himself went back to his native Washington to accept an honorary diploma from the high school that wouldn't let him graduate.
When Hendrix spoke at the school auditorium, he asked if anyone had any questions. Not a single student did. He kind of slunk off the stage and got out of the city ASAP. Even years after his death I felt embarrassed for the poor guy.
Look at the reception winguts are giving a gasbag like Beck. It makes me want to puke.
I wouldn't mind if all this talk of bipartisanship was shredded in favor of all-out class warfare against the rich and powerful. Government should be in the business of protecting the helpless. The powerful don't need any protection. What they need is a reduction in power, especially those who abuse their power.
This article outlines pretty well what our Congressmen, Senators, and President need to do, and aren't:
