Mayor Pete is Out

     Pete's Out.
     Thumbtack observations:
     He's angling for a vice presidential nod from some other centrist, most likely Biden. I can see Biden picking him to shore up support in the Midwest.
     This also comes at an awkward time since just yesterday, the Iowa Democrat Party decided to give Buttigieg even more delegates. They were going to send 14 pledged delegates to Milwaukee this July until this.
     Buttigieg had also just recently decided to break another of his campaign promises and to take AIPAC money, after all, along with Amy Klobuchar. NBC News also had named Amy, Joe and Pete as their three front runners and essentially declared the Sanders campaign dead in the water because it finally lost one primary.

     I could see Joe calling Pete's campaign and asking him to drop out, tell his supporters and delegates to throw their support behind him and offer in exchange the B side of a Biden-Buttigieg ticket.
     Yes, a quid pro quo, in other words.
     This is all speculation, obviously. Just wait and see and stay tuned. This is going to be one wild summer.
