Bragg's astoundingly corrupt dereliction of duty certainly raises the bar for other prosecutors, especially in New York, to prosecute Trump.
If politics can be defined in a single sentence, it's, "A group of self-interested sociopaths pretending to work together for the common good while primarily pursuing personal benefit." That applies to both parties.
It doesn't surprise me that Ted Cruz is such a duplicitous ratfucker. I think we'll find out in the months to come just what these fifth column traitors did in the lead-up to January 6th. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Why would Trump want Cruz to do this? Arguing cases before the SCOTUS for the government is the Solicitor General's job.
