Pottersville Digest: Expanded edition

I have to side with Manchin on this one.The pathetic thing is, we shouldn't need laws like this, in the first place.
The only thing this right wing idiot got right was in calling out the RNC for its stupidity. But the Democrats didn't succumb to "partisan madness" as much as it was klaxxon alarm bells going off at the "election" of a cryptofascist like Donald Trump. And we certainly weren't "rewarded" by gaining control of all the levers of power in the government by going centrist, unless one considers Democrats losing 13 seats in the US House a "reward." The reason a pro-corporate fuckstick like Biden won by 7.2 million votes was because, as usual, he was the one viable choice we were given and we were so desperate to kick Trump out of the WH. If the DNC had nominated a flour sack with Obama's face sketched on it, we would've voted for that. The Democrats hung on to the House in spite of going centrist, not because of it.
    Mar a Lago=Gangsta's Paradise.
What a loss. Trump could've been the next Eddie Slovik.

When is COVID finally going to work with us instead of against us and put this rabid gym rat out of her misery?
There's no coincidence that Devin Nunes taking the helm as CEO coincides with the company bleeding out like a stuck pig.
"Mr. Pence stands out as a rare Republican these days willing to stand up to Mr. Trump’s disgraceful behavior after the election."
Oh please. Pence desperately looked for a way around the Constitution and to appease Trump. He called Dan Quayle, he conferred with his legal advisors. Every one of them told him to just open the envelopes and bang the gavel. Mike Pence is no profile in courage.

You mean sexual predators like you and Trump, for instance?
"Other items in the boxes were reams of news clips printed out for Mr. Trump, as well as at least one item of clothing, the people familiar with the process said."
Please tell me it wasn't his golfing pants.
MTG: The highest-paid bleacher bum in the nation.
     Meme intermission.

Another right wing scumbag bites the dust.
Spoken like a stereotypical, paranoid right winger. He probably makes his staff wear tin foil hats.
These right wing meat heads are going to get people killed... again.
"Have you ever been convicted of fraud?"
     "Yes."
     "Great! When can you start???"

"Trump appointee Brett Kavanaugh didn't even bother to argue that the gerrymander was legal, but instead insisted that enforcing federal election law nine months out from an election would 'lead to disruption' and that it was 'unanticipated and unfair' to expect Alabama to obey a law passed 57 years ago." -Amanda Marcotte, Salon.
"Hitler was a great leader"?! Lady, that's all the context we need.
If this isn't the very definition of right wing corruption, I don't know what is.

"Second gentleman Doug Emhoff was visiting Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday when the Secret Service rushed him from the event and out of the building. CNN reported that a "credible" bomb threat was called into the school while he was visiting to celebrate Black History Month."

"Unconnected"? Come on, people, get real. We're living in 1932 Germany. And finally...

Spoken like a dyed in the wool racist asshole.
