Breaking...
That's all I got. Since the 23rd, I've been painfully shaving about 2300 words off American Zen's word count since Amazon/Penguin's contest has an unreasonable bias against books that are greater than 150,000 words. What else is going on in the world? I hear there was a SOTU Address recently.

"2300 words"
That reminds me of Stranger in a Strange Land, where the publisher oped that Heinlein would remove whole sections, but instead he carefully removed select words and re-wrote sentences to shorten the length overall, but keep all the story elements intact.
That's precisely what I'm doing. Short of excising entire paragraphs, which isn't often, I'm just clipping out superfluous words here and there and trying to make sure I don't lose anything.
There WAS another Obamanable DESPOTUS' dispensation to the 1% last night.
