Where we promise never to sleep with Hitler's speeches next to our beds.
“The kind of rhetoric that is said day in and day out about this WH, the people who work here, the president, the vice president, their families – it’s got to stop.” In other words, right wingers like the synagogue shooter are the real victims, not the victims. Projection, thy name is Crack Whore Barbie.
Apparently, the privileged white asshole who shot up that yoga studio took inspiration from Trump's misogynist, racist agenda as well as Elliot Rodgers, the other incel that killed six people and wounded 14 others. They're inspiring each other, which is a point I've been making for years. We're past the point of being able to merely connect the dots- There are now so many instances of this, that the dots, like pixels on a TV or monitor, are so numerous, they're forming their own picture.
And that brings me to the point of white privilege- If the FSU campus police had done its job, if the local prosecutor's office had done their damned job, perhaps this wouldn't have happened. Charges against him sexually assaulting women were dropped in 2012 and '16. We're calling the cops on black people for no damned reason while assholes like this get released to kill another day. And the more often needless, senseless tragedies like this happen, the more correct Don Lemon is when he says white men are the most dangerous and prevalent terrorists in this country.
And yet, despite instances such as this happening on a near-daily basis, we white people think our biggest threat are black girls selling water, black families barbecuing and black men sitting at Starbucks.

The headline says it all: The State Department has ordered diplomats to scale back support for women's sexual and reproductive health programs and education around the world. Why? Because that's what right wing evangelicals want.
Fuck the Christian conservatives.
Granted, this asshole Leighton didn't exactly help our cause by lying in that letter to Kamala Harris. But, as the story says, her name much less her bogus testimony wasn't even entered. So, naturally, the misogynist right wing led by a rapist pretending to be president is going to short stroke this all the way through the midterms. Trump's strategy of using "caravans and Kavanaugh" is going to backfire on him big time come Tuesday.
Note they're only investigating Leighton, not the credible ones. They know better than to do that.
So now the feds are raiding luxury maternity hotels, huh? Gee, I thought that was legal under the 14th amendment. I wonder how many Trump-owned properties were raided? My guess is somewhere between nada and zilch.
98 years later and we're still seeing the same type of bullshit under Brian fucking Kemp, one of the most racist men in America. Sadly, I can realistically imagine this sort of thing happening today in the age of Trump.
Judge rules that Trump's financial documents are fair game. Let the Hanging Games begin and may fortune be ever in our favor.
So, Nigerian army troops killed dozens of protesters and you want to know what their reason is? Trump said we could kill rock throwers. Trump's idiotic remarks get people killed halfway across the world. This is the dark side of the Butterfly Effect.
Right wing Idaho teachers dress as stereotypical Mexicans behind Trump's nonexistent border wall for Halloween.
Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-Apple) actually said the Trail of Tears brought about the Indian Removal Act was "a voluntary walk." Sure, like the showers at Auschwitz were communal ablutions gone horribly wrong.
I agree with Acosta but I don't know why he had to qualify it with the adverb "secretly" because there's nothing secret about Trump's racism.
Well, you wouldn't expect an Indiana Jones villain to stay in the $119 room, would you? Still, you have to ask, even with security, how could one spend $100,000 in six hours at a hotel (according to federal expenditure records)? Well, I guess TV porn could have something to do with it, especially if Melania's in it.
Bonus story: Apparently, her spokeswoman is furious about the press reporting on her excessive spending. Despite it being backed up by the government. Aw.
So, a reporter asked a Trumpanzee in one of Il Douche's hate rallies in Wisconsin how far he would take his hatred of people and entities who have never done him harm, he said he'd shoot his liberal sister in the face for Trump. Why won't these people die? Yes, I said it. I want every one of them to spontaneously die. A Rapture would be a barely acceptable plan B.
Michael Cohen reveals that however bad are Trump's public statements, his private ones are much worse. Sample: "Black people are too stupid to vote for me."
Sanctions against 700 Iranian people and entities. Starting tomorrow. Gee and the day before election day, too. That's not cynical timing AT ALL.
Shorter ex donors to Steve King: "We always knew you were a racist asshat but you're not supposed to be so obvious about it. So we have to watch our corporate bottom line. Good luck in the midterms. Bye, Felicia."
I think Trump's badmouthing the caravan because he's afraid people will begin favorably comparing it to the size of his inauguration crowd.
As usual, Republicans have nothing to sell but fear. The problem is, business is always good. Except this election's Willie Horton was allowed to reenter US soil, twice, by the Bush administration and was released by Joe Arpaio "for unknown reasons."
So, Trump thinks he can wave away the 14th constitutional amendment with one stroke of the pen, eh? He wouldn't even be here if Grover Cleveland hadn't let his criminal grandfather in. The very height of hypocrisy is in not heeding the lessons from your own family's history.
Stephen Colbert is a national treasure and we need more of this- Exposing right wing liars like Chris Wallace. His father would be ashamed of him.
So, a right wing lawmaker wrote a four page manifesto calling for all males unwilling to live according to Biblical law to be killed. Now he's being investigated by the federal government. This is what insane asylums are for, not legislative chambers. And finally...
Epigram
A truly needless, tragic shame.
If only they had better aim.
