     I'm not a money guy. I'm no financial analyst and rarely even mention the stock market on this blog. But even I can't help but notice the market has turned a bit ursine this month.
     So, knowing the Dow is currently at 21,200 and change (a far cry from the 27,000+ it was at a few weeks ago), I was curious about where the Dow stood on Obama's last full day as president.
      It was only 1392.90 points lower than it is today. This means the Dow Jones lost almost all the gains it made under Trump just in the last two weeks. If tomorrow is another day like today, even that will be wiped out and then some.

      It's a slippery slope to blame the White House when bull markets turn into bear markets. But I think in this case, we can safely lay the blame for this freefall right on the doorstep of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. This is the full flowering of Trump's incompetence. He met with financial leaders all day yesterday right before his speech and by the time he was done talking, the Dow lost over 1000 points.
     And the stock market's the one thing he cares about more than anything besides himself and his reelection chances. Imagine how much he's fucking things up for people he doesn't give a shit about, which is virtually everybody.

     The Dow's lost 2352 more points today. Pretty soon, we'll be seeing stockbrokers & bank executives defenestrating themselves from the 20th floor on Wall Street.

      As I said earlier, I'm beginning to understand Trump's thinking so well that now I can predict what he'll do even before he does it. And, last week, I was right about this- That Trump wouldn't be able to resist the call of the wild and would endorse the Republican opposing Sessions, who's still a pathetic lickspittle.
      What helps Doug Jones is that, despite his 62% approval rating in the state, Trump lately hasn't had much luck in Alabama. During the last senate race, he endorsed Luther Strange in the primary.

      He lost. Then Trump was forced to endorse pedophile Roy Moore.
      He lost to Doug Jones.
     When he went there last year to watch the Crimson Tide play, they lost their first game all year long.
     So, Trump's basically got no game in Alabama even though the numbers would suggest otherwise.

Bush responded to Katrina by gentrifying New Orleans and giving huge contracts to corporations like Halliburton and Blackwater. And you see what Trump's doing about coronavirus. Republicans are absolutely worthless in a crisis yet we keep electing these 5th Column sociopaths into our government time and again. I honestly don't get it. And finally...
